I'd also like to tell you that your referral to Sheila Heflin, OTR, CHT (Hand specialist), was a blessing. Since I live in Corpus, it's good to know that someone of that caliber was available to me. I've made such progress. She worked hard to know me and use my strengths to get the most out of me. If an activity was too painful or difficult for me, she regrouped and applied another therapy. My dad used to say, "You can do anything with the right tools." Well, Sheila has a big tool box. Her extensive knowledge and experience made it possible to get me where I am. I know I'm still a work-in-progress, but I trust her with my therapy.
Thank you Mr. Shea, (I received occupational therapy from your team for a couple of months) I just want to commend you for the exceptional team you have! From your welcoming, supportive front desk and business office staff, your very kind and supportive rehab/OT techs and especially receiving my therapy, teaching and care from "the best" - the wonderful OT team of Sheila and Carrie. You are blessed to have such a wonderful team and wish you continued success with the great job you and all your staff do!
Sheila, First off, I want to thank you for all the time, effort, and support you put in helping me overcome my injury. It really does mean a lot especially because I felt like you understood where I was coming from in the sense of wanting to play ball again. I couldn't be where I am without you. And to tell you where I'm at... I am playing varsity basketball and I have my three-point shot back. I think we will have a pretty good team this year and I'm looking forward to it. Well, since I never got a good chance to say thank you, I thought I would send you this card to show you how much I really do appreciate the help you have given me in accomplishing my dream and goals. I will send you a schedule, so if you ever want to come see us play you can. Hopefully we'll keep in touch and I will keep you updated on our season. Thanks again.
To everyone at Hand Therapy Services: Dear Sheila and friends, thanks so very much for all the wonderful medical care and all your kindnesses that were shown to me when I broke my left arm. Your group of associates are super... Thanks for everything. Dr. M. said to "be careful"...
Hey Sheila, I wanted to thank you for your support, enthusiasm, skill and guidance in making my injured finger process a success: you are truly a knowledgeable, motivating professional whom I feel very lucky to have had as my Occupational Therapist.
Throughout my lifetime I've been privileged to meet some super neat people - I consider you one of them. Your engaging personality, training and experience has helped make you the star that you are.
p.s. phenomenal "people skills" too!
Sheila, I wanted to thank you so very much for all you have continued to do for our daughter physically and emotionally. It has been a life-changing experience and our entire family appreciates every extra hour and thought you spend trying to achieve a better outcome. Your belief in progress is amazing, whether or not it is achieved as an end result. Every time we look at her elbow we will think of you and your hard work! I hope I can make a difference in my patients' life as you have in our daughters' - a true friendship.
Thank you again,
I suspect that you are running out of file cabinet space to accommodate all of the letters you must receive from grateful patients! Since that is not a bad problem to have, let me add to your collection.
My husband and I recently move to Corpus Christi and my initial experiences with medical care here were not good ones. That said, I was skeptical that therapy services would be as beneficial to me as they would be to your bottom line. Was I ever wrong!
Thanks to Sheila, LaDonna, Kathryn, and Abby, my wrist is almost as good as new. Not only does this team exhibit professionalism and competence, they are so personable! My husband and I actually enjoyed my therapy sessions (him a little more than me!).
I also would like to commend your front office staff. While I don't know their names, they knew mine! They were always welcoming and friendly.
I commented at therapy that you must be a good boss if longevity of your employees is any indication. You have been blessed to find (and keep) such high caliber professionals.
Again, thanks to you and your staff. God Bless you.
I wanted to thank you so very much for all you have continued to do for "J" physically & emotionally. It has been a life changing experience and our entire family appreciates every extra hour and thought you spend trying to achieve a better outcome. Your belief in progress is amazing, whether or not it is achieved as an end result. Every time we look at her elbow we will think of you and your hard work!
Thanks! For your...patience...good humor...skills...experience...understanding...encouragement...etc., etc., etc...
Thanks so very much for all the wonderful medical care and all your kindnesses that were shown to me when I broke my left arm. Your group of associates are super...
It may not seem like you did a lot for me - therapy-wise - but you did!! I'm so glad to have met you; talked with you; worked with you. You're awesome!!! Thanks for everything!!
Your generosity was greatly appreciated. Thank you so very much for everything and may God Bless You.
